This is where my 4 year old Daikin ended up. The problem is that Daikin is NOT corrosion treated like many other brands, so if you live in the Bangkok area, they won't last long. They leak refrigerant and require expensive repairs, which is not worth it at all. The company knows this of course, and for the same reason they only have a 1 year warranty, compared to the 5 years of their competitors. Here my "old" air conditioner is waiting for a scrap dealer.... FOUR YEARS!
